Problem:
You get an error message that reads " The Host 'mail.netexp.com'
could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server
name correctly. Etc...
Solution:
Check to make sure you're connected to the internet. Verify that
you can move information over our network by accessing a website.
If you can surf the web, you should be able to access our mail
server as well. If the problems persists, reboot your computer.
If that does not correct the problem, call our support department.
Problem:
Messages are getting stuck, or you're receiving the same messages
over and over.
Solution: This
is a common problem when you receive an email that has a very
large file attachment, or the message has been forwarded so many
times that it has become corrupted some way. To address this issue,
first close out of your mail program (Microsoft Outlook, or Outlook
Express). Head to our Webmail, which is located at http://webmail.netexp.com
or follow the link on our homepage.
Once you log into the webmail, remove the message that your email
client is hanging up on. For example, if the client says "receiving
message 12 of 24" and hangs there, delete message 12. Once
you return to your regular mail program, the error should no longer
appear.
